Palooka

Palooka, a band stationed in Niagara, consists of 3 members: Joe Lapinski, Jay Peters, and Eron Stroud. All have come together due to a natural scheme of events. The underlying nature of these events, you might be asking yourself, has been creation - the creation of music, and something new, perhaps something exciting. Perhaps.

Joe Lapinski

guitar, vox

Guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, sound organizer. Aside from Joe letting the other 2 guys in on his basement/song ideas, he takes on the role of the recording engineer and sound mastering technician when it comes to Palooka's recordings, and their label Yummy Recordings. He has recorded and produced many local independent acts, and ain’t stopping there. He also writes and performs music for Suitcase In Point Theatre Company.

Jay Peters

drums, percussion, vox

he Drummer Who Leads ALL Drummers! Jay is a well seasoned musician who has, and is playing with the likes of many acts, such as: The Silver Hearts, Magna Cum Loud, Blackberry Blossom, Duke the Bull, etc, etc. In my opinion, all these acts and styles of music have simply "trained" him for the project that is Palooka.

Eron Stroud

bass, keys, vox

Bassist, keyboardist, pianist, vocalist, songwriter, indestructible creator of sound. Eron, a schooled musician, offers what seems to be an endless amount of musical ideas to this band. I guess you could say he is both the third, fourth, and fifth member of Palooka. His ideas shine through on stage, in rehearsal, in the studio, and wherever else he can find room to inflict his muse.
