Every other responsible gambling page on the internet tells you to use deposit limits and self-exclusion. On the casinos listed here, both of those are weaker than you think, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest given what this site is about.
Provincial self-exclusion works because the operator has verified who you are. A casino that never learned your name cannot enforce a ban against you. If you have self-excluded through a provincial scheme, an offshore no KYC operator is precisely the gap that scheme cannot close — and going there is the single clearest sign that the exclusion was needed.
Deposit limits on these sites are self-set and self-removable, usually instantly. They are a speed bump, not a barrier.
Bank-level and card-level gambling blocks work regardless of whether the casino knows who you are, because they operate on your side of the transaction. Most Canadian banks offer one on request.
Blocking software such as Gamban and BetBlocker covers offshore domains that provincial schemes do not reach. BetBlocker is free.
If you fund play with crypto, the on-ramp is the chokepoint. An exchange account closed or frozen deliberately is harder to undo in a bad moment than a casino deposit limit.

Chasing losses. Gambling with money set aside for something else. Lying about how much time or money is going in. Playing to escape rather than for entertainment. Borrowing to fund a deposit.
If any of those describe the last month, the useful move is not a smaller deposit limit on a site that cannot enforce it. It is one of the numbers above.
